We are delighted to announce this year’s Winners and Honorable Mentions. We truly had so many incredible writers from our finalist round that we selected one additional Winner! This brings our total number of Winners to 7, all of whom will be participating in our TV Writing Lab!

Five years after the Artificial Intelligence Revolution, a young woman is finally allowed to venture out of her city on a quest to find her younger sister. But before she can do so, she runs into another displaced child who holds the key to Earth’s salvation.
DAI-LO by Hymnson Chan (one hour)
After the death of her genius brother, a mild-mannered housewife teams up with a rogue assassin Clone to stop a genocidal conspiracy, forge her own identity, and unravel her dead brother’s secret life.
GUMHEELS by Ellen Tremiti (one hour)
A group of female friends with a murder club podcast get drawn into crime solving when one of their own goes missing.
I AM BRUCE LEE by Erin Falconer, Larissa Gomes (one hour)
Based on a true story, Daniel Kim, calls the collapse of the 2008 financial markets and faces backlash at his Bank (Wells Fargo) while struggling with his own personal demons and identity.
RIDIN’ DIRTY by Allyn Rachel (half-hour)
Horse jockey Vicky Gursky, a petite from the streets of Baltimore, strives to become the first woman in history to win the Triple Crown.
SOÑADORA by Alonso Mayo (one hour)
When ICE abruptly deports her father, an imaginative Latinx teenager must use every ounce of her grit to survive, to keep her high school dreams alive, and to avoid anyone discovering that she’s all alone.
STARRING NANCY by Amanda Scherker (half-hour)
After a failed assassination attempt against President Ronald Reagan, a boorish astrologer convinces Nancy Reagan to bring her on staff. Her two objectives? Keep the president safe and make Nancy the most powerful First Lady of all time.
