Thank you to all of the incredible writers who entered WeScreenplay Shorts Contest this year! Your hard work, talent, and dedication to storytelling shines through in the entries we received.

If you are interested in hearing the next time this competition opens, subscribe for updates here.

After deliberation by the incredible industry jury of Oscar nominated writers, executives, and producers, we are thrilled to announce the Winners of the competition! The winners will attend exclusive virtual meetings with industry professionals to talk about the most effective ways to move forward with their short film scripts. For this Virtual Shorts Lab, we’ll explore topics such as securing financing, getting talent and producers attached to your project, tips and tricks for making the most of the festival circuit, and how to balance practical needs with getting your passion project off the ground.

Plus, as part of this year’s competition, EVERY Finalist is being granted a 1:1 mentorship call with our partners at Seed&Spark!
