WeScreenplay Feature Winner attaches a producer to her project!

More great news for another WeScreenplay winner. 2017 WeScreenplay Feature Juror and Hollywood producer Melissa Azizi read Erica Tachoir’s finalist script, Scattering Jake, as part of the competition and loved it. She met with Erica to discuss the project and after working on it together, Erica has officially attached Melissa as a producer on the project.

They’re working together on packaging and financing this heartfelt and hilarious story about a young widow who dumps her deceitful husband’s ashes down the sink the night before a trip to scatter those ashes with his family.

We’re thrilled to congratulate Erica on her project making waves. This is another writer to take a leap forward in their career from winning a WeScreenplay contest.

WeScreenplay’s flagship feature contest, called one of the top screenwriting contests in the industry in 2017 by MovieBytes, offers two guaranteed reads, access to judges’ scores, and over $20,000 in prizes awarded to winners.

The WeScreenplay Feature Screenwriting Competition is about providing screenwriters exposure to get their stories told. Only feature scripts are accepted. There are over $20,000 in prizes and the top three winners will be promoted across several platforms.
