2017 WeScreenplay Drama TV Pilot Winner J.J. Bailey Signs with Heroes and Villains

By March 12, 2018No Comments

2017 Drama TV Pilot Winner J.J. Bailey signed with Heroes and Villains earlier this year. His script Vanishing Point is an hour-long drama about Colin Burk, a man hiding from his own dark past, who runs an off-the-books vanishing service to help those desperate enough to hire him to disappear and begin a new life. We’re happy to hear he’s signed with such a reputable company and can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

J.J.’s not the first WeScreenplay contest winner to be signed, and he won’t be the last. Congratulations to J.J. and his screenwriting hustle. He really earned it!

Make sure to check out our upcoming deadline this week!

Diverse Voices strives to provide a contest that is purely focused on promoting and encouraging diverse voices in Hollywood. The contest encourages stories that are told from perspectives that are often underrepresented in Hollywood today — according to the WGA diversity report that is writers of color, women writers, and writers over the age of 40. We’d also love to see stories from the perspective of writers with disabilities, writers in the LGBTQ+ community, and any other voice that is currently underrepresented in Hollywood today.

Submit by March 15!
